It is evident in everyday life, socially and professionally, that the world is changing. Therefore, we are wise to take notice to the way teaching and learning is rapidly changing our lives and our children's lives. Technology is responsible for the greatest overall change in the way we live, work, and learn, since the Industrial Revolution and education may be the most successful institution of all to emerge from the Industrial Age (Books-Young, 2010).

Creating this blog was a great challenge for me because I do not have much experience in this particular technology. Actually, I am not very savvy in technology at all.  What I do have in my favor though is my penchant for learning and my resolve to overcome all obstacles that I may encounter on my educational  journey.  I have learned that, like almost anything that requires practice, creating a blog becomes easier with practice.

 I would say that my greatest challenge in creating this blog was just getting started. I actually called on my 16 year old daughter for guidance, at first. Once she got me going, I researched "how to name a blog" for some ideas on naming my blog. Once I got started, the process seemed to be relatively easy.http://deemack2.blogspot.com
